不收集任何个人信息。易读没有注册、没有登录、没有用户 ID，也没有一台属于我们的服务器在接收你的数据。 我们不知道你是谁，也无法知道你用它读了什么。

以下内容保存在你自己浏览器的本地存储里（扩展用 chrome.storage.local 与 IndexedDB，网页阅读器用 IndexedDB），不会上传：

• 你收藏的单词、句子，以及对应的释义和解析结果
• 收藏时所在的网页标题和网址（用来让你日后想起这个词是在哪遇到的）
• 你导入的书籍文件、阅读进度、书签与复习排期
• 你的设置，包括你自己填写的 DeepSeek API Key

这些数据只存在于当前这台设备的这个浏览器里，不会在你的设备之间同步。 清除浏览器数据或卸载扩展，它们会一并消失——所以我们提供了「备份与恢复」功能， 导出的文件也只保存在你自己的电脑上。

当你划选一个句子、并且已经在设置里填了自己的 DeepSeek API Key 时，易读会把你选中的这段英文和你的 API Key 发送到 DeepSeek 的接口 （https://api.deepseek.com），换回句子结构、短语和翻译。

• 这段请求由你的浏览器直接发给 DeepSeek，不经过我们的任何服务器。
• 你的 API Key 只存在你本地，只用于这一个用途，我们看不到它。
• 这部分数据如何被处理，适用 DeepSeek 自己的隐私政策。
• 不填 Key，就不会有任何外发请求。双击查词用的是打包在扩展里的离线词典，完全不联网。

• 不出售、不出租、不交易你的任何数据
• 不做广告、不做用户画像、不埋任何分析或追踪代码
• 不读取、不上传你浏览的网页内容——扩展只处理你手动划选的那部分文字
• 不把数据用于与「帮你读英文」无关的任何用途

• 在所有网站上运行：你可能在任意一个英文网页上遇到生词——新闻、博客、论坛、文档。 事先无法预知是哪些网站，所以脚本需要能在你打开的页面里响应你的划选动作。 它只在你主动选中文字时才做事，不会读取或上传页面内容。你也可以在扩展弹窗里一键关掉。
• 存储（storage）：保存你的设置和收藏，全部在本地。
• 访问 api.deepseek.com：发送你划选的句子去做解析，就是上一节说的那一件事。

在扩展设置页清空 API Key、在网页阅读器里删除书籍与生词，或者直接清除浏览器的站点数据 / 卸载扩展——数据都在你本地，删了就没了，我们这边没有副本可留。

易读不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会主动收集任何年龄信息（我们不收集任何个人信息）。

Yidu has no accounts, no server-side database, and no analytics or tracking. Your saved words, sentences, and reading data stay in your own browser. The only thing that ever leaves your device is the English sentence you deliberately select for analysis, sent to DeepSeek with your own API key.

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login, no user ID, and no server of ours receiving your data. We cannot identify you and cannot see what you read.

Saved words and sentences with their definitions and analyses; the title and URL of the page where you saved them; imported books, reading progress, bookmarks and review schedule; and your settings, including the DeepSeek API key you enter yourself. All of it lives in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB) and is never uploaded. It does not sync between your devices. Clearing browser data or uninstalling the extension deletes it permanently, which is why an export/import backup feature is provided — those files stay on your own computer too.

When you select a sentence and have entered your own DeepSeek API key, the extension sends that selected text and your key to https://api.deepseek.comto get back its structure, key phrases and translation. The request goes from your browser directly to DeepSeek and never passes through any server of ours. Your key is stored only on your device and used only for this. DeepSeek's own privacy policy governs how that data is handled. Without a key there are no outbound requests at all — word lookup uses an offline dictionary bundled with the extension.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We run no ads, build no user profiles, and include no analytics or tracking code. We do not read or upload the content of pages you visit — the extension only processes text you actively select. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to helping you read English.

Access to all websites: you can encounter an unfamiliar word on any English page — news, blogs, forums, documentation — and there is no way to know which sites in advance, so the content script must be able to respond to your selection on the page you are reading. It acts only when you actively select text, and never reads or uploads page content. It can be switched off entirely from the extension popup. storage: saves your settings and collected items locally. api.deepseek.com host access: sends the sentence you selected for analysis, as described above.

Clear the API key in the options page, delete books and words in the web reader, or simply clear the browser's site data / uninstall the extension. Everything is local, so deleting it is final — we hold no copy.

Yidu is not directed at children under 13 and collects no age information (it collects no personal information at all).
